Résumé de la thèse

This interdisciplinary project examines how lifelong experiences, environmental factors, and major life events influence cognitive reserve and its role in coping with cognitive decline. Using large-scale longitudinal data and advanced modelling, it explores how different contexts (social, economic, and demographic) and life events shape cognitive reserve at various life stages. Three subprojects focus on the effects of (A) environmental factors, (B) life events, and (C) their combined impact on well-being during cognitive decline. The findings will advance cognitive reserve research and support policies and interventions to promote resilience in ageing populations.
